MACHINING FACILITY

NEPCO is setting up fully equipped Machine Shop to facilitate machining of heavy components up to 15 M/T.

The range of major machinery in the initial phase includes -

i ) Heavy Duty Lathes for job lengths up to 8 Mtrs.

ii ) Vertical Lathes for job dia. Up to 2 Mtrs.

iii ) Horizontal Boring Machines (Table & Floor Type) .

The facility has convenient access to heavy transport and is situated at Chandannagar on Delhi Road, an hours drive from Kolkata.
